| | | Oprah's fiber has maintained it's finess through four pregnancies. She gave birth to her first cria 5/3/02 a gorgeous 20.2 lb, dark brown female, sired by PCA Destino, the son of Camilio. On 6/8/03 Oprah gave birth to her second female. This time an apricot sired by PCA Destino. That color must be from Camilio. Oprah gave birth to her THIRD female cria on August 30, 2004 sired by Royal Peruvian Canaan. This youngster appears to have all the makings of a quality show animal. We're so satisfied with the pairing of Oprah and Canaan, we're breeding them back. APRIL 17, 2006 IT'S ANOTHER GIRL. Oprah delivered an 18.4 pound, medium brown, female cria without complication. This female is a carbon copy of her beautiful sire. She has his color and his presence. She started eating paca food at three weeks and at five weeks weighs 41.2 pounds. She's halter and lead broke already and a favorite of guests.
We've bred Oprah back to Bart for a spring 2007 cria just to see what | |

| | | Bart turned two years old on June 27th, 2004. For his birthday we gave him Pperuvian Valley Girl. This was an excellent match and produced a cria of color just as we'd hoped. Bart is 1/4 Accoyo from Peruvian Accoyo Camilio. Other impressive names from Bart's bloodline include Peruvian Hemingway, Ppperuvian Yupanqui, Pperuvian Pluro and JA JFK. He is dense with crimp from head to toe. He's a no-nonsence guy who knows what his job is and is gentle with the ladies. He now has five crias on the ground, two fine looking males (his oldest received 2nd at the Mid America Alpaca Show) and THREE beautiful females (another 2nd place at the Mid America Alpaca Show), none of them the same color. There's plenty of room in the barn for your girls. Call today to schedule your breeding. We offer discounts for multiples. Ask about our requirements to bring your females and crias to Cedar Hollow Farm Alpacas.

We were very pleased when Shannon was born. She is her dam's FIFTH female cria. We were also a little surprised by the color. Her dam is a dark brown and her sire is a light brown. Never the less, we were happy with the pairing. Shannon is a good sized female with a very soft hand, good staple length (approx 5 1/2 inches), high frequency crimp and good density.
After seeing what Jackson produced with Pretty Woman, (Shannon is Pretty's granddaughter!)we decided to breed Shannon back to Jackson. In April Shannon delivered a female. We now have three of Jackson's female crias here at the farm, so you can see what these two bloodlines can produce.
In order to include Shannon in our New Marketing Program we drastically reduced her price. This is great for YOU and she's ready to be bred. Call today to schedule a visit and meet Shannon and discuss the details of her purchase.
