Gabey was choosen out of thousands of Peruvian alpacas to come to the United States to improve the breeding quality of of U.S. herd. She has succeeded in doing just that for several years. She passes to her crias the dense crimpy fleece of a truely pure Peruvian. She delivers easily, by herself. She normally delivers early in the morning and mother and baby are doing well before we discover them during feeding. Gabey is bred to our herdsire, El Primero Winsome of Aberdeen, and is due in August, 2007. Primero's first crop of crias will be showing this spring. We have had a lot of intrest in these beautiful crias because of the quality of their fleece. Primero is a grandson of Peruvian Caligula and is passing on the Champion's winning characteristics.

Primero is a handsome male with dense fiber and rich luster. Primero's grandfather was PPeruivan Caligula. Primero was never shown because the farm was under construction during his prime show years. His first crias are now winning ribbons in the show ring(100%!). He is the proud sire of a beautiful true black girl and a dark fawn boy. Both crias, have very fine fleece, the female with a micron count of 19 ("softest in her class")and the male's count is 20. **** We are offering a new deal for breeding fees.
