Carina is a strong fiber producer, as well as great mother. She has conformation, lots of dense fleece, fine fiber in a beautiful dark fawn. Her dam, Clover, is a granddaughter of the well known Peruvian Hemingway. Carina's grandsire, Royal Icing, also has a reliable reputation for producing quality, both in conformation and fiber production. Carina has the best characteristics of both her parents and grandparents. Her sire, Camana's Merlin has also produced many excellent offspring and brings the mystery of his unique (Grey) coloring into this fine line of alpacas. Kennsington is a very handsome solid male by one of the premier gray herdsires in the U.S. - Peruvian Macusani. He was never shown (but should have been)last owners didn't show their alpacas. Kennsington is conformationally sound and strong in bone with a nice tipsy head, square body, and has a sweet gentle temperment that he passes on to his offspring. His fleece displays a medium frequency crimp, between medium/dense density, very uniform and a very soft handle at 8 years old, Tim Lavan's(alpaca judge) report on Kenszy 1/28/06, not bad for an older herdsire.
