At AWE 2007, Stellar's son Bruxo's Hector Tickle just won 1st place White Suri, Color Championship, Best Lock Best Luster and Judges Choice! His fleece took nearly all the top awards in the suri fleece competition!! How much better can fleece get??!
"Stella" is a Teton daughter (by Uribe/Durazno) out of our champion producer Lumina, who in 2003 gave us multiple color champion Olivia Tickle by Bruxo. At the Suri Network 2006 Fleece show, a Teton son LCA Calhoun, won Best Luster of Show.
On the day she was born, Stella taught us the meaning of suri luster; she has that dazzling white brilliance that makes you fall in love with suris. She has a high luster fleece that is uniformly fine with cool handle. Her fleece took the blue at the AOBA Winter National Fleece competition in 2004.
Pperuvian Bruxo
White, 123070, Full Peruvian
Suri Futures ananounces that Bruxo has finally passed on. He lives in the next world, and his body remains with his harem at our farm in Cave Junction, Oregon.
Bruxo's genetics continue to improve the North American suri alpaca industry. Bruxo's genes are the greatness behind the famous Macgyver, the most celebrated Herdsire of the Year, as well as Helios, Luxor, and many other champion suris.
He was a homozygous Accoyo suri and an outstanding impact herd sire, with 156 suri cria and no H's. An impact stud throws cria that look like him more than the dam and carry his fiber and conformation traits. Bruxo's offspring all exhibit extraordinary luster, fineness, fiber uniformity and of course great conformation and perfect bite.
His phenomenal fiber statistics should get the attention of anyone breeding for fine suri fiber - especially for a breeding male of his age. This is the high quality suri fleece we should all be breeding for!
Cassiopeia is a full Peruvian, pure suri Bruxo daughter out of a Durazno granddaughter. She's an excellent suri female in every measure you can use.
Cassie won her first Reserve Color Championship at the Fiber 2 Fashion 2008 Fleece Show, in the Light Suri division. Her light fawn fleece took 2nd at the most competitive suri fleece show in the USA, the Suri Network Symposium.
Her dam Stellar is a Durazno grand-daughter, and a fine suri with fawn in her pedigree. Stella won a 1st place at the AOBA Nationals in Fleece competition 2004. Stella produced our Bruxo son Hector, who won 3 Color Championships in 2007. Cassie is a full sister to Hector.
Bred to General Fairfax, Cassie produced a beautiful girl cria in early June 2010. The third of her offspring, first girl cria Calliope has fine, uniform fleece and flawless conformation. Callie is also capable of producing a stud quality male offspring, something only a few girls can really produce.
Cassie was first bred in July 08 at 160 lbs. We like to see a maiden mature before being bred for this first time. Like her mother, Cassie is a competent mother who births easily and has plenty of milk. Her light fawn fleece is a joy to touch; it's silky suri fiber at its best!
We're moving our entire breeding herd to Spring season crias, so Cassie will remain open for the winter to be bred next spring. Her price includes a breeding to any of our studs, if the Buyer would like her to be bred.
