 HERD DISPERSAL:
After nearly 15 years of raising alpacas, we are liquidating our herd. This herd includes animals with nationally recognized and award winning bloodlines that have never been on our price list - production animals that have given us outstanding offspring over the years. All animals have been reduced in price. Our loss, your gain. Also, please take a look at the herd package under "Packages". This package of 10 females and 4 males gives an additional discount on each animal for an average price of under $4000. The package also includes many farm items as well as 2 livestock guardian dogs.
Alpacas of Shepherd's Pasture has been home to many beautiful alpacas since 1994. Each alpaca is carefully selected for their conformation, fiber, color and genetics which is demonstrated in our cria. Every one of them have a unique and wonderful personality that makes them so enjoyable to work with and with our smaller size allows us to give individual attention to each alpaca. Our Management Objectives: (i) to maintain a quality herd, (ii) to have a manageable herd size that allows for daily individualized attention to each animal, (iii) to provide diversity of color and bloodlines, (iv) to provide a pleasant, satisfying experience for our visitors, (v) to be a successful and enjoyable business, (vi) to enjoy a pastoral lifestyle balanced with outside interests.
Our services include: sales of breeding stock, friendly fiber/pet quality males and prize-winning fiber; stud service; agistment; individualized sales contracts; full post-sales support; financing; free delivery within Oregon; a breeding with each purchased female; consultation and advice to new, small breeders.
