Windswept is a small farm lovingly cared for by Margot. All the alpacas are individually treated. We are very vigorous with our scheduled shots and medications.Our yearly shearing is carried out with kindness and respect for each animal.The farm encourages visitors to interact with our herd. We supply after sale support for as long as needed. There are no animals like alpacas- I am convinced ALPACAS FREE YOUR SPIRIT! |

The Cottage at Windswept is our bed and breakfast retreat. Our guests love to sit on the front porch and watch the alpacas graze. Folks have found lots to do in the mid-Ohio Valley and everyone enjoys breakfasts of our own fresh eggs and Margot's "sticky buns". Our farm store located in our bed and breakfast now has a number of sweaters, scarves, bears, throws, and hand knitted alpaca hats. Yarn and roving from our own animals is available. We also have our logo, "Alphie" cookie cutters, ornaments and soap. Don't forget our book Tails of Windswept Farm is here. The big kids like the stories and the little kids love the illustrations by J D Williamson.

Margot is a city-girl turned farmer. She supervises everything happening on the farm with a watchful eye and a generous heart. How exciting it is to watch a herd grow and change and mature. Raising alpacas is sooooo much fun.
