 About Easy Feelin Alpacas
It's all about the fiber! As fiber artists we fell in love with their incredibly soft and luxurious fiber.
We were struck by the gentleness, grace and beauty of the alpaca.
We began our small alpaca farm with virtually no livestock and/or farm experience. We purchased four fiber males and within a few months "took the plunge" and purchased two pregnant females. We immediately knew this was the beginning of an exciting and rewarding adventure!
Even with full time jobs and hectic lifestyles we find that the time we put into caring for our growing herd is pure pleasure. Breeding and raising alpacas provides an ongoing learning environment.
We invite you to visit and learn about these gentle and intelligent creatures and browse our farm store and fiber arts studio. We feature products made from the finest alpaca fiber. It is our pleasure to help others learn to work with alpaca fleece and yarn. We have experience in all forms of fiber arts including knitting, spinning, weaving and felting.
We are committed to a breeding program with the goals of producing alpacas with improved genetics, fine quality fleece, diverse colors and excellent conformation. These characteristics are vital to producing desirable offspring for breeding sales and show ring success.
We hope to further advance our herd in the years to come. We have been able to apply our medical backgrounds in caring for these wondrous animals. We are committed to providing excellent customer service, personal mentoring and developing lasting relationships. We encourage you to share our experience and success with alpacas and their fabulous fleece! The industry offers something for everyone.
