Purchase Financing, Terms and Conditions

FINANCING TERMS:
We offer multiple financing options based on the purchase price of the alpaca. A 25% deposit is required regardless of the option chosen.
One Year financing is offered with 0% interest.
Two to four year financing will have interest at 1 over prime applied.
Financed sales require the purchase of mortality insurance for the balance owed with Alpaca Road LLC named as the Loss Payee.
BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION:
Boarding after sale: 30 days free board, then $4/day.
During the time that Purchaser’s alpaca(s) are boarded at Alpaca Road, the Seller will have the absolute discretion to perform veterinary services to attend to the immediate medical needs of the Purchaser’s Alpaca(s) – this includes worming with injectable Ivomec, nail trims, and CDT vaccinations. The Purchaser agrees to pay all such veterinary fees and charges within 30 days of billing.
Alpaca Road or its agents, shall not be liable for any sickness, injury, disease, stray, theft, death, or any other injury which may be suffered to Purchasers’ Alpaca(s) while in their care at the farm in Ridgely, MD.
GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES:
Maiden females are guaranteed to be capable of achieving pregnancy by the age of 3 years.
Pregnant females come with a live birth guarantee for 30 days. Warranty ends after first birth. Abuse or neglect on the part of the buyer resulting in a lost pregnancy (such as not shearing in the Spring for Summer) will nullify all warranties.
Junior herd sires are guaranteed to be capable of settling a female by the age of 4 years.
All purchased alpacas must be provided normal, generally-accepted health care and housing, including annual shearing, vaccinations, and deworming.
