Chris Kass spent many days on her grandfather McCandless' dairy farm in SlipperyRock, PA. She moved to Gaithersburg, MD after college where she worked for 20 years as a systems analyst. She retired in 2005 after a ruptured brain aneurysm changed her life at 43. She has worked as a horse trainer (1 yr) at Gil Porter Cutting Horses, Inc. in Sandy Spring, MD and that rekindled her love of farm life.
