I have a big guy that cushes immediately when handled. For giving shots or examinations - no big deal, but it is a nightmare trying to trim his nails. I've tried pulling his feet from under him while cushing, but he just leans his massive weight against me and I can't my hands under him. I just got him about 6 months ago and he is the only one in my herd of 20 that behaves his way. Other than this peculiarity, he is relatively well behaved - he'll eat out of my hand and will stand calmly when I'm working near him, so I don't think he is afraid of me personally, but something sets him off. Any ideas?
