At heart we are caregivers. We get our kicks out of nurturing, tending, investing our minds and souls in the hopes of seeing joyful growth. When our former careers (teaching and mental health) yielded waning returns on our efforts, we turned to breeding alpacas. We built the farm five years ago. While watching crias frolick gives us grins and satisfaction, our own growth, individually and as a couple, has been most rewarding. These amazing animals and our devoted colleagues inspire us.
