London is scheduled to have one of the first Balboa crias on July 5th!!!!! We expect it to be a cria to celebrate!!! Balboa's breedings have been closed for 2007 and limited breedings are available for 2008.
London has a beautiful petite head and has awesome luster, locks and coverage. Her pearlized locks drape in very long ropey silky strands. Her top qualities are her solid conformation and luster! But look also at her staple length and the amount of fleece she is carrying! London sheared 4.7 lbs from her blanket only this year.
London comes from a genetic line that is golden. This genetic line has extreme luster and awesome lock structure even after shearing. Her Grand Champion dam breeds quickly and carries her babies with ease, as do all of London's full sisters. Her dam and sisters have all had unassisted deliveries and are heavy milkers. This genetic line is very upright and loves to pose for the camera and the judges!

London's Lilly of Northern Lights (Balboa Daughter)
What a wonderful surprise our Balboa baby was!!! We expected beautiful locks and luster, but we never expected to get gray!! What a rare color Lilly is. Lilly also has a wonderful personality even when pregnant. Lilly is tall and straight and is loaded with twisted locks of black and gray. Lilly has long "super model" legs and showed that "look at me" attitude on day one. We are thrilled with her!
Lilly comes from Grand Champions on both sides of her predigree, so that show ring presence was a given. Her maternal grand dam, Ameripaca's Lorraine, won Grand Champion in every show she was entered in. In those days, her grand dam even competed against males! Lorraine still shows extreme luster and lock structure and is now twelve years old! Lorraine, a warm white, had a sire who was a dark fawn vicuna. We believe that is why Lorraine and her daughters are throwing gray. Lilly's dam, London, is a true black who shows her dam's extreme luster, tight ropey locks, and above average staple length. London is shown here after having been belly shorn. London has consistently thrown gray and all girls. Lilly's sisters, out of a different herdsire, are Paris (light silver gray) and Brooklyn (dark silver gray). All of these females are very lusterous, fine with tight ropey locks and above average staple length.
Lilly's sire needs no introduction. MacGyver's Balboa won a record 17 Grand Championships. You may have seen Lilly in some of Balboa's ads, as she was one of his first offspring. Lilly is a wonderful combination of both maternal and paternal genetic lines.
We are constantly doing a double take when we enter the paddock, as Lilly looks so much like her dam. And now Lilly is also a producer of gray! See Lilly's first cria, Something Royal (aka Emma), on our page. Emma is a very distinctive dark tuxedo gray. Lilly is a wonderful milker and an easy-going dam.
