Nuance is an "Incredible Incan Black Male from a Royal Line of Elite Fibered Alpacas in Color" from the Snowmass breeding program. Incan Magic, whose dam remains at an amazing 16 microns at 9 years of age, is his grand dam. Nuance’s Dam, Incan Surprise, has exhibited the same fiber attributes. His sire, Nova, has been a multiple champion and is an excellent producer. Nuance’s pedigree of predicable fiber characteristics and award winning genetics are what ATV has been striving for in our breeding program for many years.

His offspring are all we hoped for; strong and straight with considerable presence covered with the top quality black fleece we are working diligently to produce.

Proudly co-owned with Skyline Alpacas.

Ok, call us crazy! We're offering Ginger AND her daughter, Cinnamon Twist, for the price of one alone. Take advantage of our momentary lapse of sanity to add two beautiful colors to your herd! Ginger is maroon, and Cinny (SURPRISE!) turned out to be bay-black!

Ginger Ale is a perfect fit for those breeding for the unusual colors, and for dark alpacas with great fiber. In addition to her rich color, she exhibits:

-outstanding fiber fineness for a dark fleece (AFD 20.3 microns in 2008, and 22.1 microns when heavily pregnant in 2009)
-good,even crimp
-exceptional staple length
-very nice density
-excellent coverage
-top notch pedigree including such greats as: Snowmass Nova, Snowmass Casanova, Bueno, Drambuie, and Royal Fawn.

Standing tall and straight, Ginger has the good solid conformation necessary for a female that will produce annual offspring for many years. She has perfect maternal instinct, too, and births on her own, so you can rest easy.

Ginger's daughter, Cinnamon Twist, is a beautiful example of what Ginger can produce. Put them in your front pasture - Cinny's beautiful head and velvet-soft, bay-black fiber are sure to stop traffic.

Ginger sells bred for a summer 2011 cria. Note:Ginger was bred to our blue-ribbon winning grey male, McClintock's Yuma, a Hemiaccoyo Cassanova son with outstanding staple, fineness and coverage. Combined with Ginger's very similar outstanding fiber traits...think rose-grey with amazing fleece! Of course, you will also receive another complimentary breeding to any solely-owned Cloud Dancer herd sire after Ginger's 2011 cria arrives, so this is...a 4-pack!

To assist your budget in this slow economy, we will finance your purchase over 24 months with only 1/3 down and no interest. If you prefer, we will agist Ginger here for a year after your purchase, at no additional cost to you.
