Firenze's Boots

Medium Fawn, 30670365, Full Peruvian

Firenze's Boots is a proven mom with good milk supply. Her 1st cria, a female, was born Thursday 3/27/09 from her 4/10/08 breeding. A strong 15.8 lb white cria with pink skin. We're calling her Salute's Lenten Rose. She had an easy first birth and we owe a big thanks to The AlpacaRosa for offering us use of their heated barn during our unpredictable Ohio spring weather!!

Her sire is a pattern herdsire over at Coffee Pot, MFI Peruvian Maverick out of 4Peruvian Matador and their champion producing dam, 5Peruvian Azucena, from whom Boots gets her fawn coloring.

Most of her ancestors are TRUE BLACK and Maverick has started throwing GREY crias, Boots has power packed genetics behind her. Her sire MFI PERUVIAN MAVERICK, was an outstanding Champion and Blue Ribbon winner at important shows such as MAPACA, OABA Alpaca Fest, Kentucky and Virginia Classics. He is known for his extremely dense fleece with high frequency crimp style, brightness and consistency. Boots' grandsire,

    Light Fawn, 1349245, Full Peruvian

Golds crias are hitting the ground and we are seeing 14 micron fineness and he sired a brown/black bred to a white dam!

Gold still maintaining his 19 micron at age 4.5

"Best fleece in his class" were the words to describe Gold in his first show at 2006 OABA Alpacafest. "this is the finest fleece I've seen in a 2+ male class"...Wade Geese '08
Indeed, Gold has maintained an incredible fineness for his age. 18.2 micron at 3 years old, simply amazing! Lingering Fineness
is a trait that The AlpacaRosa is focusing on

Sweet Caroline, his dam, comes from an outstanding Champion producing dam, Mary Lou. Caroline's grandsire is Accoyo Amedeus,a much sought after but very rare bloodline in the States, as he was sold to a farm in Europe. Grand Triumph is Sweet Caroline's Sire. And lets not forget Gold's sire, Royal Accoyo Avenger. That makes Gold 7/8ths Accoyo Fawn!

The AlpacaRosa has been tested as BVD-FREE . Our new breeding protocols re

Sovereign is the a Royal Accoyo Avenger grandson and is super dense and fine. He is such a fleece monkey that no sunshine gets through to the skin at all. He is get of Alpaca Rosa's 24K Gold (ACCOYO AVENGER son) herdsire sporting LASTING FINENESS and out of Boots whose fleece won ribbons at MAPACA. She has DENSITY, and is Baby Quality fleece with FINE GUARDHAIRS. She also has the fading gene as she first showed as a medium fawn and has faded down to the skin to a light fawn alpaca. Boots is also a large girl out of Coffee Pot Maverick(Matador line) and Black Magic line.

If you are looking for a junior herdsire with these breeding qualities and would like to help participate in hosting him and showing him, please consider an offer for part ownership.

The shearer took special time shearing his face and topknot, saying that he deserved to have it look really nice, quite a complement!!

He will join my herdsire row in a couple of years! That's a no-brainer....
