Light Fawn, 30649446, 1/2 Bolivian, 1/8 Chilean, 1/8 Peruvian

Sunflower was bred to Chocolatier and had a gray male cria born 6/1/10! The cria turned out fabulous so we repeated the breeding. She comes from one of our foundation girls that continues to throw beautiful cria year after year. Sunflower has a soft handle and nice character to her fleece. Chocolatier will add density and fiber character to the cria along with his wide range of color genes, including gray. Chocolatier sheared 10+ lbs. in 2009 and 9.5 lbs. in 2010! Many years of breeding ahead for this girl.
Sunflower is due October 2011. Male cria has been weaned and is not included.

  HD Chocolatier
    Dark Brown, 30561472, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Gray genetics wrapped in chocolate! Chocolatier's presence, strong conformation, excellent fiber and perfect bite are no accident. Being out of a beautiful gray dam and a sire who is a four time Champion, the possibilities are endless. With Caligula in his lineage and lots of silver gray, we are eager to see what he can produce. This guy is ready to breed 24/7 and settles the girls quickly!
UPDATE: First cria on the ground and its a silver gray! A light fawn mom and chocolate dad produced gray. This shows his gray lineage is strong!

Daybreak offers 60 days of board, ultrasound and 30 day live birth gaurantee. We are full-time breeder with hired help so someone is always around to monitor the alpacas.

Daybreak's Sox Sold!

Print Listing | Certificate | Histogram

Sox is so unique looking with his gray coloring. He has the cheek coverage that adds to his cuteness. His sire shears 9+ lbs. and has a gray dam with a four time color champ sire. Sox's dam is a light fawn with three generations of gray. So the gray genes run deep on both sides of Sox's lineage.
