Pearl's Priscilla

White, 1381160, 1/8 Chilean, 7/8 Peruvian

Here's Priscilla, a bold, white, 7/8 Peruvian daughter of the famous Accoyo Poseidon.

Priscilla has lovely fleece and great conformation and bite. Her fiber is very nice, with excellent crimp and lock structure (see photo). She has average fineness with good density, and is holding her fiber fineness amazingly well as she ages. Fiber uniformity is outstanding on this girl. She also has a very bright fleece and good coverage. She is well-sized, so she can carry and deliver babies for you with no problems.

Priscilla is producing excellent quality. Look at Sweet Summer, her July 2010 daughter. Summer is just beautiful, with great conformation and extreme density in her fine, crimpy fleece. Don't just take our word for it...Summer took 4th place in the 2011 AOBA National Show, where she competed against 15 other juvenile white females under Judge Tim Lavan.

Priscilla had another girl in 2011 cria, July Snow! So here's a dam with two girls out of two births

  Cloud Dancer's Macho Colorado
    Medium Brown, 816870, 1/4 Chilean, 3/4 Peruvian

A large, solid male with extreme fiber coverage, Colorado also has well defined crimp and a very dense fleece, as expected with his Accoyo background (he is 1/2 Accoyo). His color is deep red, like mahogany, almost maroon. Conformation is outstanding. He is friendly and easy to handle.

Colorado's crias have excellent coverage with very bright fleeces, and fiber that is quite fine (AFDs in the low twenties and high teens on most). Colorado settled his first female at 22 months of age, so add early maturity to the list of attributes. His crias are generally fawn or brown but he has thrown bay blacks and one true black, which went on to become the Black Female Color Champion at the 2005 Southwest Regional Show. Over the years he has been breeding, three-fourths of his crias are female!

Colorado's sire is the well-known Peruvian import, Camilio, with many show champions to his credit. His dam is one of our foundation females who has produced nothing but show ribbon

July Snow comes from great bloodlines - she's a granddaughter of Poseidon and carries genes from Caligula, Lexus, King Solomon and Camilio, among others. Her sire is our own deep red male, Macho Colorado, and her dam is a white Poseidon daughter. She is owned by Carefree Farm Alpacas.

July is a nicely balanced girl, with good conformation and bite. Her white fleece has great brightness and good density and uniformity, and a lovely soft hand. Her dam is an easy breeder and a great mother, so July should follow the same path. She likes to be in the thick of whatever action is going on, and is very inquisitive.

July sells with a free breeding to any of our herdsires. She sells with full reproductive warranties. Because her owners are retired from breeding alpacas, we can offer her for this exceptional price.
