Birchleaf Madison

Bay Black, 30362086, 1/4 Bolivian, 3/4 Chilean

Take a look at this eligant girl, great disposition and fine lustrus fleece. She's a half sister to our champion black female Shieesha. Her mother's also a champion who has passed on making her the last of her line. We are offering her for sale as we have alot of her mothers bloodline in our herd.

She's has given us a beautiful, dense, bright fleeced fawn female cria sired by Birchleaf Nomad our Grey/ Black Color combined, Canadian Futurity Gr. Champion Macho.
-Madison produced another lovely girl in 09, she's a twin to her last year girl from Nomad.
- Madisons 2011 cria sired by Luxor histogram taken Dec 9/2011 was 18.2, 3.4, 18.5, 0.3> 30mic.
- Madison is bred to one of our new Black Co-owned male Northmark's Atreyu (6 time Champion) for a 2012 cria.
This is the first time she has been bred to a black Macho, we are expecting a black cria with elite fleece characteristics.

IT'S HERE, ATREYU'S FIRST MALE OFFSPRING AND HE'S DONE A SPECTACULAR JOB AS YOU CAN C

THIS 0NE IN A MILLION MALE IS NOW IN QUEBEC. WE ARE VERY PLEASED AND HAPPY FOR THE NEW OWNERS OF ATREYU, ARIYA ALPACAS. CONGRATULATION's AND MANY THANKS TO Gerald Perron, Janette Archambault, Margot Lande and Karen Shaver. He's heading to an absolutely beautiful ranch where he'll be treated like Royalty. We wish you all the best and many Champions.
Watch for his offspring in the 2013 showring.

Atreyu is no doubt one of the best black males ever to set foot on Canadian soil. He has impressed judges and breeders that have seen him at the Shows, and left all with a desire to have his genetics in their herds. We continually got offers to purchase shares, and breedings to Atreyu.
With a first year shearing histogram of 17.9 - 4.1 - 22.9 - 0.7 on a true black fleece, and solid frame you can see why he was a dominate force in the showring. His Sire Amber Cheechako is the offspring of RFA Turk and Okanagan's Silver Bells, Cheech has produced dark coloured progeny below 20

Prometheus is a " Chip off the old Block" and has the same looks and presence as his 6 time Champion Sire Atreyu. He has a load of fleece on a well constructed, solid frame, with exceptional presence. His fleece has a very heavy feel, like his Sires who shears over 10 lbs annually.
Prometheus is maturing nicely, and is our #1 male offspring from Atreyu.

This guy will add fleece length ( 5 to 6 inch blanket ) Character and density, without compromising on fineness.
Cria on the ground rose grey boy, blue grey girl, bay black girl. All solid no spots. We are going to use him more now in 2017 , now that we have seen what he can produce.

-Prometheus produced 4 awesome cria for the 2018 season. 3 bay black ( 2 female) and a vicuna coloured female.

  Awards Received
- 1st Halter,Lloydminster Alpaca Showcase, Oct 15, 2016 - Judge Jude Anderson
-2nd Farm & Ranch Mar/2014, Judge Ken Hibbits, lost to Alpaca Odyssey Supreme Champion. Not enough Brown Males for a Championship class. Must be 10 males Alpaca Canada Rules
-1st Northlands Alpaca Odyssey Nov/2013 class of 9.(was put into the brown class)
-4th CNASF, Apr/2013 he was put into the dark brown class, (Fleece was just to drawn out and damp, he lost alot of character) not sure as to the final color he'll be. Almost looks like he changes from bay black to dark brown from lock to lock. It will be nice to get his fleece off and see what color dominates.
