Miss Chloe was purchased as a part of our foundation herd. She is one of the first offspring of our herdsire, Captain Morgan. For her first breeding, we chose another one of the highly prized suri herdsires in the country, The Mahogany Prince! These two produced a wonderful male cria who definitely lives up to our expectations of this mating! Check out Prince Morgan and see if you agree.
Chloe's 2007 offspring, Fiona, is a Fiorenza daughter and is all that we had hoped for in our choice of his breeding. Fiona exhibits all the positive suri traits that we're breeding for - luster, fineness, luster, density, coverage, luster, and presence. Need we say more? 2008 cria is our Black to the Future, true black son of Fiorenza of PVA. 2009 Chloe delivers a stunning DB female cria to add to her stellar production record. Given Chloe's production when bred to Fiorenza, need to say anymore about who she's bred back to?!?
Fiorenza of PVA
Bay Black, 806088, Full Peruvian
Fiorenza of PVA, son of Kobe & grandson of two-time Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Mahogany Prince, has it all! This is one of the males we have chosen to breed our Captain Morgan females to. A full Peruvian and full 4th generation suri on both sides of his pedigree, "Fio" has the genotype AND the phenotype to qualify for our breeding philosophy - breed the best to the best to produce the next generation, always striving for that "perfect alpaca"!!
Fiorenza exhibits exceptional luster and carries a uniform, wavy lock with good density. A very soft fleece with a silky handle and that "greasy" feel, it just begs to be touched! Fineness and that soft feel in blacks don't typically go hand in hand - that is what drew us to Fio in the first place.
Fio has 39 cria on the ground, all suris, with 32 of them being darker then medium fawn! In addition, 15 of them have been black. If your breeding program dictates dark colors and SURI crias, check out this boy. As with all suri br
The Italian stallion......welll, not really but the name just seemed a natural when he was born! Stallone has proven to be a favorite both on the farm and at the shows. Showing under 6 different judges during his show tenure, he's always placed 1st or 2nd.
Stallone has a very macho look and carries correct conformation from head to toe. His fleece is very fine, plenty of luster and density to go around. His fiber at 6 years of age has a very greasy feel with a nice, drapey look to his regrowth.
And, genetically, it doesn't get much better than Stallone. His sire's side carries Mahogony Prince and Uribe while his dam's side boasts Bruxo, DDF Augustina, Acero Marka's Rag Top and Peruvian Fuego. These are strong genetics that have consistantly produced show winning offspring, with plenty of color. If your suri breeding program needs some color infusion, Stallone might just be your boy! Package him with some of our females and produce your own future generation of improved genetics!
