Don't let Dreamy's color fool you if you're looking for color in your herd - check out her first cria on our "SOLD" list - Isadora, a BLACK Captain Morgan daughter. Dreamy's sire AND grandsire are both black and she's proven her ability to produce color with FIVE colored females since beginning her breeding career! Her 2009 daughter, Dustine, will steal your heart! A medium brown, female she is almost the mirror image of Dreamy's 08 FEMALE cria, Sweet Pea, and they both inherited the typical Captain fleece characteristics (luster, coverage, density) AND his very mellow personality.
Dreamy has a very dense fleece, a soft handle and still carries good luster. Her bite and conformation are excellent and her fiber coverage is very even, head to toes! Add to this an easy birther and an excellent mom with plenty of milk and you have the complete package. Birth weights on her six offspring have averaged 19 lbs.!
Dreamy's 2011 cria, Nuvo, sired by Black Label, is a rose gray bea

Black Label was (deceased) an incredible black suri herdsire...and the judges appear to agree! Out of our 4X Reserve Suri Herdsire of the Year, Captain Morgan, and Inca daughter, DDF Sophia, Black Label has made a name for himself in the showring - check it out! His cria production has been simply amazing! Out of 18 cria, he has produced 7 true blacks and 4 greys, including 2 rose grey. All possessing luster and excellent fleece coverage, Black's crias are all that we had hoped for.
Black sports luster to spare (typically hard to come by in a black), tiny pencilled locks, abundant coverage head to toes, and excellent density. A very typey suri head and beard complete this black package. Add his very mellow personality (PR guy in the breeding male pen!) and he brings everything to the table.
American Dream is out of one of our foundation females, Susan B. Anthony's Dream (Dreamy). Always producing color, all of Dreamy's cria have been foundation quality offspring. And, "Dream" is no exception.
Her sire, Captain's Black Label, was our go-to herdsire for females who needed density imparted to their cria - and he came through with American Dream. She carries a dense, lustrous fleece with uniformity of lock and fineness throughout. Add correct conformation and she is the complete package.
We bred Dream to our Maserati son, Man-O-War for a June 2018 cria. Man-O-War produced our Judge's Choice female, Calista, at the CABA Classic in 2017. This was our first cria of the year and he was stillborn! A gorgeous medium brown male, weighing a whopping 23.4 lbs.! A very unhappy day on the farm.....This year she's been bred to our true black Torbio son, Carbon Fiber. She's due June 2020.
