Princess Penny

Light Brown, 850121, 3/4 Bolivian, 1/4 Peruvian

Penny and Bachelor have done a wonderful repeat!!! Penny is the proud Mother of another beautiful dark silver gray male, Carson. He is almost an exact replica of his big brother Salazar (with the addition of two white socks on his back ankles). Penny is a wonderful Mom. Little Carson gained 0.8 lbs in his first 24 hours. Carson was born uneventfully on Monday, September 21st!

Princess Penny is the first daughter of our two-time Grand Champion Lorraine, and has her mother's show presence and perfect conformation. From her sire, she has inherited her coloration.... a light brown blanket framed by dark charcoal on her face, chest and legs.

Penny's strongest characteristic is her perfect conformation... straight topline and very nice straight legs. Her fleece fineness for her third shearing was still 21.7 microns! Penny is a no problem dam and wonderful mother. Everyone needs twenty just like her in their herd. We keep detailed records on all of our alpacas, s

  Shasta Springs Bachelor
Medium Silver Grey, 1172744, 3/4 Bolivian, 1/4 Peruvian

Bachelor is the beautiful son of two grey parents, Sire-AABC Admiral and Dam-Caprice (Import), and also has a grey paternal grand dam. Bachelor has an awesome Suri phenotype with tight locks to the skin rarely seen in grays. Bachelor also belongs to an elite group because of his fiber statistics (AFD 20.3, SD 5.1, CV 25.1, %>30 4.3). Bachelor has a beautiful short triangular head covered in fleece (something he probably gets from his paternal great-grandfather, Peruvian Aureo). Bachelor's luster is also outstanding. Bachelor is tall but not too tall, and has a beautiful stretch. To those of you within 400 miles of us, we offer drive-by breedings at a discount.

If you are breeding to achieve elite fiber that is <20 microns with high luster, that also has the tight lock structure winning in the showring, consider Bachelor. Bachelor consistently produces gray and tight lusterous locks. Included in Bachelor's stud fee is a lineage analysis of the female you wish to breed h

Bachelor's Coal Man  (**New to Stud)

Listed by Kay & Anne Ryschon of Omaha, NE

Print Listing | Certificate | Histogram

Coal, named for his coal-black coloration is an exquisite true-black male, out of our herdsire, Shasta Spring's Bachelor, and brown daughter out of Grand Champion Lorraine. Coal carries himself well, with a solid conformation. His tightly-curled lusterous lock structure and strong color genetics make him a great herdsire for any female.

!!! PSA !!! Coal's first round of crias' hit the ground this year (2018) and they are BEAUTIFUL! Density, COLOR, and their elite fiber quality are exactly what we strive for with our alpacas. He passed on his beautiful true-black color to all the female crias (out of gray and black dams) and has a gorgeous charcoal gray son on the ground (see McKenna's Molly for pic). All of these crias are extremely lusterous and tightly locked with coverage from their heads to their toes. New photos will be posted soon.
