CCAP Runner's Light My Fire

Light Fawn, 35137788, 1/8 Chilean, 7/8 Peruvian

CCAP Runner's Light My Fire continues to develop as she's growing up and do well in the 2017 Fall Halter Shows. Taking 1st place and a Reserve Banner at the 2017 NEAOBA Show in Syracuse, NY, Judge Jude Anderson commented on her capacity, pleasing phenotype, fine, bright fleece with consistent architecture and coverage, which took her to the top of her class. Light My Fire followed with another Reserve Banner at the VAOBA Show, stepping up from 2nd place in the Yearling Light Female Class!

CCAP Runner's Light My Fire is a well-grown girl for her age, easily as tall (or taller) than her True Black dam, LMFI Peruvian Smoke Ring, with deep black and a touch of grey genetics in her background, and sired by multi-banner winner and producing Rumm Runner (Bay Black). She displays fine, well organized fleece and good coverage over her body.

"Fire" was bred to AVC AJ's Kodiak, a multi-banner winning True Black herdsire, and sire of a True Black Futurity Champion female! Kodi

Fire's Nerissa by Kodiak certainly made a statement in her first Halter Show (a double show weekend), taking a Blue Ribbon in her first show (ahead of her paternal half-sister) and then switching places in the 2nd show!

The judges' comments included;

- Fine fleece
- Uniformity of micron
- Displays good architecture and organization
- Consistent coverage over her body
- Long staple length for the period of growth
- Well grown for her age

But we're not surprised when you consider her lineage! Her sire is AVC AJ's Kodiak, a multi-banner winning Blue-Black True Black male, who has produced other champion Black offspring. Kodiak's phenotype is outstanding, he has a straight topline, substance of bone, and a gorgeous head! His fleece is exceptional, well-organized, with a soft hand! Her dam, CCAP Runner's Light My Fire, Light Fawn, is a multi-banner winner in her own right! Sired by 10x champion Rumm Runner (Bay Black), Light My Fire is a well-grown female and has a highly organized, fine, bright fleece (a heritable trait of Rumm Runner), and we can see that she has passed this trait on to Nerissa!

We look forward to continue showing this young female, or you can buy her now and show her yourself before putting her to work in YOUR breeding program!
