Summerwind's Symphony

Light Fawn, 827307, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Symphony is still impressing everyone with her awesome luster (now evidenced in her shorn fiber). Symphony is a beautiful Accoyo daughter of NGG Cortez and has it all ... perfect conformation, dense, beautiful locks, and such blinding luster that every judge has taken a second look at her. Symphony has a wonderful personality making her easy to train and work with.

Symphony has delivered her second cria, a beautiful light fawn female out of our own Sandusky!

  Sandusky
    Medium Brown, 839857, Full Bolivian

Sandusky is criating awesome crias! We are expecting three more of his crias early this Fall. His 2005 crias all have his extreme presence and perfect conformation and very lustrous locked fiber. Sandusky has given us 3 out of 4 girls!

Sandusky is tall with very strong bone, and is covered in ropey locks from his cheeks to his toes. His gums are black, so we expect him to pass on his beautiful maroon color. Sandusky won Grand Champion in his first show in 2004 (out of 15). At the 2004 AAA Futurity in Indianapolis, the judge said, "This is what you would like your herdsire to look like ..." At the 2004 AOBA, Sandusky placed 5th in a very tough medium brown yearling class, and again the judge commented on his phenotype.

Sandusky's crias have a vicuna coloration with dark skin, grey muzzles, and heathery colored fiber on their legs, tummy and neck. Both have beautiful unusual eye markings, and glow-in-the-dark luster. You can see his offspring in person at the 2006

Meet Windy!!! Sandusky's 4th female and first rose-grey, joined this year by another rose-grey out of Sandusky. We are thrilled with the colors Sandusky is producing out of white and light fawn colored dams. Windy is a medium rose grey; and has the same lock, luster and coverage as her full sister, Summer. We are not too surprised that Windy is showing some grey, as her older brother is a bay black with consistent grey fibers throughout. Windy placed first in the dark fawn juvenile female class under Amanda Vandenbosch. Windy has beautiful lock, luster, density and coverage. She also has a micron of 21.5 (SD 5.9, %>30 8.1).
