SFT Chloe

White, 819453

Chloe is a beautiful female out of 5Peruvian Dom Alamir. She has an elegant presence with an irresistible sweet personality. Her fleece qualities are some of the best in our herd - yield, density, crimp, micron - she has it all and reproduces it in her award winning crias.

She is again bred to Alabaster for another fabulous cria in fall of 2006. Her 2005 Cria with Alabaster - DCF Connor - is sporting an unheard of 6.5" staple at 6 months old!

  JSFI Dakota
    Medium Fawn, 802413, 3/4 Peruvian

Consistency in his offspring is what makes Dakota a true impact herdsire. We have selected him for our breeding program for his extreme density and deep bold crimp characteristics. Along with his very typy head to toe coverage we have not over-looked his heavy bone and muscle structure.

Dakota’s coverage and yield results have been confirmed by skin biopsy. He shows a S/P follicle ratio of 10.9 – well into the “superior” category for a breeding male at age seven - AND Dakota passes it on – he breeds true for crimp and coverage, and has increased yield on every dam he has covered.

All of the crias born on our farm show his heavy coverage and deep amplitude crimp through out their blanket, neck and legs. These cria have hit the show circuit and they are bringing home ribbons and color championships in every color.

Book your 2006 breedings now - arrangements can be made for mobile breedings to farms within a 200 mile radius.

Dougherty Creek's Aileen

Listed by Mindy Huitt & Linda Kosovac of Mount Horeb, WI

Print Listing | Certificate | Histogram

Aileen was hand picked to be part of our foundation herd. She has buttery soft fleece with silky, deep bold crimp as well as perfect conformation. In 2006 Aileen sheared a total of 6.8 pounds, 3.7 alone was her blanket! Aileen is without a doubt one of our sweetest alpacas with a calm and content disposition. She has passed along each of her quality traits to each of her cria. Each delivery was smooth and uneventful and Aileen has proven to be a wonderful mother.

Aileen has been bred once again to our premiere grey herdsire Tsunami for a June 2017 cria. We have sold every one of her offspring except for one we purposely hung onto so we could continue Aileen's line on our farm.

Due to Aileen's age, our fondness for her and her contributions to our farm, we do not plan on selling her.
