SNOWMASS Andean Bossa Nova Sold!

Meet Bossa Nova, our fifth generation Peruvian (but who's counting?) from the Snowmass breeding program. We purchased his dam, a Snowmass Snow King daughter (with Augusto, Snowmaster and Hemingway genetics) at auction already bred, and this is the wonderful result!

Nova's sire, Snowmass Andean Night, gave us the color and half of the great fiber genetics (AFD of 15.2 in 2003, multiple ribbon winner). Nova's dam, Snowmass Starry Night, is a nice bold girl with outstanding fiber, still carrying fineness of the Baby category (AFD 21.6 in 2007) at six years of age. Nova is the result of this great mix of genetics!

Nova has excellent conformation and stands tall and proud. His fiber is extremely fine, at 19.8 microns for Average Fiber Diameter, and exhibits uniform crimp, exceptional brightness, and strong lock structure. In personality he is very easy going, gentle to work with, but with his buddies he struts his stuff and likes to stir up trouble with the other young males.

We'll be showing Nova in the 2007 and 2008 show seasons to see what he can do, and his price will be adjusted accordingly. Actually we'd kind of like to keep him, but with a small herd that becomes problematic. So our loss can be your gain - grab him now when the price is low!

Updated photos, fiber samples and/or video of Nova are available upon request. Purchase Nova as a package with Cha Cha and take a $2000 discount off the total price of these two remarkable youngsters!
