RIVER ROCK'S Mona Lisa

Bay Black, 837702, 1/2 Bolivian, 1/2 Chilean

Mona was the second of our original two maidens, and has also done very well by us with her first two crias. The first was a lovely light fawn little girl followed by a pattern boy who is the spitting image of his sire! Mona, too, has shown that she lets the sires’ color and fleece characteristics come through, although we’ll be just as pleased to see the colors coming through from her side as well, considering that she has 3 generations of only black, gray, and rose gray in her background!
Mona is registered as a bay black and is ½ Chilean, ½ Bolivian.

  Coffee Pot Dino
    Pattern, 836223, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Dino is our proven herdsire who has given us two beautiful babies so far, Alegria del Cielo and Guapo del Cielo. Dino has definitely inherited and is passing along his sire’s extreme brightness, high frequency crimp, and more than anything else, his incredible density!
Just like his half-brother Forstner, his density continues to increase from year to year.

Dino took a 1st place in his halter class at OABA’s Alpacafest in 2003, then was followed by his full sister, Coffee Pot Miss Ellie who took a 1st in her class at the same show the following year in addition to 3 other first place winnings on the show circuit in the same year. Obviously, when it comes to his lineage, the genetics are there!

We will only be breeding this “Macho Man” at the price of $1000 for a short while longer, as we will be selling him to make way for his younger brother who is stepping up to his turn at bat! Take advantage now while you can to add these proven genetics to your herd!

What can we say about this guy? He is, in a word, FLASH! True to his heritage, Guapo is a striking pattern male who leaves no doubt whatsoever as to whom his sire, grandsire, and great-grandsire are! Not to mention his sire’s award-winning full sister, Coffee Pot Miss Ellie! Check out pictures of his sire, Coffee Pot Dino and his well-known grandsire, MFI Peruvian Maverick. His great-grandsire, 4Peruvian Matador, of course needs no description! All are known for incredible density, in addition to beautiful luster and excellent crimp. All have excellent conformation and bite and Guapo is certainly no exception. We have seen that he is one of those crias who looks (and feels) better and better as he ages, and are confident that he will be spectacular by the time he is of age to breed. Because his dam has lots of black, rose gray, and silver gray in her background, we expect color, color, and more color out of Guapo! After all, we didn’t name him “handsome from heaven” without reason! Since we already own 2 herdsires from the Matador line, we have to let Guapo go if we want to continue to diversify our genetics.
