Dark Fawn, 827589, Full Peruvian

Brandy has delivered a beautiful little boy!!! He has a white face and dark brown/black blanket and black legs and head and neck. We can't wait to see what color he turns. Best of all... his fiber is dense and locked to the skin!!! His picture will be up soon!

Brandy is a very eye-catching female and an incredible dam! Brandy's crias gain almost a lb/day for their first week (0.98 mean, 0.08 SD), and then 0.82 lbs/day (0.19 SD) for their first month. She weans her crias consistently at 4.5 months! Brandy rebreeds quickly and has had all easy births. She passes on her calm personality, density, fineness and luster. Brandy is a proven producer of gray!

  Shasta Springs Bachelor
Medium Silver Grey, 1172744, 3/4 Bolivian, 1/4 Peruvian

Bachelor is the beautiful son of two grey parents, Sire-AABC Admiral and Dam-Caprice (Import), and also has a grey paternal grand dam. Bachelor has an awesome Suri phenotype with tight locks to the skin rarely seen in grays. Bachelor also belongs to an elite group because of his fiber statistics (AFD 20.3, SD 5.1, CV 25.1, %>30 4.3). Bachelor has a beautiful short triangular head covered in fleece (something he probably gets from his paternal great-grandfather, Peruvian Aureo). Bachelor's luster is also outstanding. Bachelor is tall but not too tall, and has a beautiful stretch. To those of you within 400 miles of us, we offer drive-by breedings at a discount.

If you are breeding to achieve elite fiber that is <20 microns with high luster, that also has the tight lock structure winning in the showring, consider Bachelor. We also think Bachelor has the high probability of producing grey.

Bachelor's first crias are arriving and they are beautiful!!!

Johannesburg is one of my favorite young males. We expect this young male to be a leader in producing Suris that meet the expectations of our future fiber market! He has every quality we are breeding for. His dam has consistently given us fine fibered males with exceptional fiber characteristics (ie fineness and low SD and %>30). Joey looks like he will be even finer than his older brothers, has even more luster and tight pearlized locks. He is going to be tall like his dam and sire and has a solid conformation. Joey, like all of his relatives, is very easy going and gentle. Don't his dark fawn color fool you. We expect Joey to be a great producer of gray.
