GLL Alita was the high selling suri alpaca at the 1995 Celebrity Sale Auction. We have since purchased her back and once again have her gracing our pastures. She produced the 2002 AAA Futurity juvenile male blue ribbon winner, Tallac, GLR Amelita, 2004 second place AOBA grey juvenile female & 2004 AAA Futurity second place grey juvenile female. GLR Amelita was also the 2005 AAA Futurity Champion Grey Female. Her 2005 female cria GLR Allelujah, sired by Synergy, is one of the nicest crias produced on our farm in 2005 and has been retained for our breeding program. Her 2006 cria, GLR Atalissa is a full sister to GLR Amelita. We currently have GLL Alita bred to Synergy for a spring cria.

GLR Amelia was our very first alpaca, purchased as a juvenile in 2004. Amelia is the daughter of dark silver gray 4P Condor. Amelias dam is GLL Alita, who was the high selling suri alpaca at the 1995 Celebrity Sale Auction. Amelia is a full sister to 2005 AAA Futurity Gray Color Champion GLR Amelita. Amelia herself earned a 4th place ribbon in a large, very competitive class which included the eventual Color Champion and Reserve Color Champion at the 2005 MaPaca show.
Amelia has an awesome, phenotypic suri head, and fine penciled locks to the skin, and she has produced the same in her offspring.
Amelias first cria, who was our first cria, was MICH Belle Isle, who was born in 2006. We could not have been more pleased with Belle Isle. A nationally prominent alpaca veterinarian called Belle Isle one of the best juvenile female suris he had seen in a long time.
We were also very pleased with Amelias 2007 cria, MICH Mikado, who was sired by MacGyvers Armed & Dangerous. Mikado exhibits the same excellent suri head and fine penciled locks as found in his dam.
Amelia's 2008 cria, MICH Drummond Island, was sired by USA Peruvian Jaguar, is an amazing medium brown male with a bright future. At just six months old he took second place among the medium brown juvenile males at the 2009 Futurity, he took Reserve Color Champion as a yearling at the 2009 MIAF, and Color Champion at the 2010 Michigan Breeders Show.
In 2010, Amelia has again produced an excellent cria for us. Sired by our GLR Orion, MICH Alma is a light fawn female with similar fleece character and presence as Amelia's exceptional 2006 cria, MICH Belle Isle.
Awards Received 4th place ribbon in a large, very competitive class which included the eventual Color Champion and Reserve Color Champion at the 2005 MAPACA show.
