MEMBER'S PRIVACY

The most basic premise of AlpacaNation is to communicate information provided by our members, about themselves and their farms to as many individuals as possible.  Therefore, our efforts to maintain member privacy only extends to certain types of member information.  All information provided by members must be current, accurate and appropriate.  AlpacaNation reserves the right to add, modify, or delete any information associated with our members.

Public Information: All information published by our members in their farm, alpaca, fiber and service listings have no privacy restrictions associated.  This information is intended to be public and is freely available to all Internet visitors.  How much information you decide to provide, is your decision.  You can choose not to provide certain information, but as a result, you may not be able to take advantage of many of our features. 

Private Information: Information provided by our members in confidence such as financial information, mailing lists and business leads or contacts will not be shared with any other individuals, member farms or organizations.

USER'S PRIVACY

Inquire Direct
Any information submitted, using our INQUIRE DIRECT feature, will be posted in our Member Services section ONLY.  This information is accessible by all AlpacaNation member farms and you may be contacted by any or all of these farms.

Member Mailing Lists
When subscribing to a farm's MAILING LIST, your information will be restricted exclusively to that farm, and AlpacaNation. 

AlpacaNation's Mailing List (Opt-In/Opt-Out)
When providing personal contact information on AlpacaNation.com, you are provided the opportunity to join the AlpacaNation mailing list.  If you choose to join the AlpacaNation mailing list, you have selected to 'opt-in' to future email and correspondence by AlpacaNation.  Our mailing list may also be provided to member farms for their marketing purposes.  If you choose not to join the AlpacaNation mailing list, you have 'opted-out' and your contact information will not be used by AlpacaNation or provided to any member farms without your specific consent (except as noted under Inquire Direct and Member Mailing Lists)

Access to Personal Information
You may have access to any and all personally identifiable information collected about you by AlpacaNation, upon request.  You may also change or remove any information you have submitted previously on AlpacaNation, upon request.  All requests for access, changes or removal should be directed to customerservice@alpacanation.com.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any members or user's of AlpacaNation.com who believe that this policy has been violated in any way are strongly encouraged to contact AlpacaNation as soon as possible at customerservice@alpacanation.com.  Errors that can be corrected by AlpacaNation will be addressed immediately upon notification.
